MENA Climate forums

MENA Climate runs Degrees in Action, a series of 5 sustainability forums in the UAE convened by the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) with the Emirates Green Building Council and Kai Kata FZE. Each forum takes one sector — the built environment, industrial decarbonisation, climate law, or the water-energy nexus — and moves it from regulation to implementation.

Forums are held in Dubai, at the EGBC Lounge on Sheikh Zayed Road. Co-producer Kai Kata FZE is based in Ras Al Khaimah, and partners across the series include RAK Ceramics and RAK Radio. Attendance is by invitation, with a reserved seat per attendee.

What a MENA Climate forum is

A morning built for depth rather than breadth. Each forum opens at 08:30 with registration and networking, followed by short framing remarks from each speaker and then an open, cross-sector discussion with the room. The setting is a lounge rather than a conference stage, which is what makes the exchange candid — senior people from policy, capital, manufacturing and the firms scaling low-carbon solutions, talking to each other instead of presenting at an audience.

It is not a trade show and there is no exhibition floor. Seats are limited and allocated by registration, which keeps each room small enough for everyone present to contribute.

Seats across the MENA Climate forums are limited and by registration.
